Practical Management Skills
Leadership Development: Leading Hybrid Teams: Develop your Coaching Skills: Practical Leadership Skills: Handling Difficult Conversations: Focus on Retention and the Employee Experience
Leaders and managers face tough challenges: the tide of resignations coupled with skills shortages: pent-up emotions from the pandemic experience: the uncertainty ahead. Moreover, hybrid teams and workplaces – where people work remotely or, work sometimes remotely and sometimes in the office – are the new working model.
This context creates a new team dynamic, changes the employee’s relationship with their manager and with their firm, and changes many of the practical ways leaders and managers must recruit, assess, recognise, and reward their people. This represents a bigger upheaval for leaders and managers than might, at first, be imagined.
We have developed a range of courses to help you deal with this upheaval. You will gain the basic listening and feedback skills from which to build a flexible, people-oriented leadership style. You will learn approaches to suit people’s changing needs and expectations. You will develop effective ways of handling difficult conversations and devise new ways of raising and assessing performance.
